Make it at home
As Executive Chef, I love how freeze-drying intensifies the berry’s natural acidity. This parfait highlights the crunch of our Strawberries against creamy local dairy.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| VI Sweets Strawberries | 1/2 Cup |
| Greek Yogurt | 1 Cup |
| Maple Granola | 1/2 Cup |
| Honey | 1 tbsp |
1. Begin by selecting high-quality, full-fat Greek yogurt to provide a tangy base that complements the sharp sweetness of our freeze-dried Strawberries.
2. Place your freeze-dried Strawberries in a bowl and gently crush half of them into a coarse powder, leaving the other half as whole, crunchy nuggets for texture variation.
3. In a glass vessel, create a foundation using a quarter cup of your chosen granola, ensuring it is packed tightly to provide a stable base for the layers.
4. Spoon a generous layer of yogurt over the granola, smoothing it out so you have a clean line before adding the next ingredient.
5. Sprinkle the crushed strawberry powder over the yogurt and add the whole, crispy Strawberries on top, followed by a light drizzle of local Island honey to pull the flavors together.
6. Repeat these steps until the glass is full, finishing with a final topping of whole Strawberries to showcase the intense red color and gourmet presentation.
